About

[THE BLOG]

You’re a mom.  You’re busy – whether you work outside the home or within it, you need a hand!  You don’t have tons of time to research what is best for your family.  Let Hurried Homemaker be that extra pair of hands to guide you through what we think are essential areas of Mommyhood:

EATING: So many new and helpful kitchen gadgets come on the market, we keep you abreast of what you need. You need healthy, but delicious recipes the whole family can enjoy – recipes that taste like it took hours, but really took very little time at all to make. And who can live without a few treats along the way too?

ORGANICS: Buying organic has become the “in” thing. Let us be your source for which items are most important to buy organic, why, and where to get them.

CRAFTS: Feeling crafty? Join us for some simple, but beautiful crafts that you can do on your own (or with the help of little hands).

GO GREEN: Let’s be realistic – we can’t all go “off the grid”. But we can do little things that are simple and practical to help leave the Earth a little better for our kids.

PRODUCTS: In today’s economy we need affordable choices that will look good, feel good, and last; products to make life a little prettier, easier, and more organized. We will be showing you great choices in clothing, body care, and home essentials – the basics and a few splurges.

[THE HURRIED HOMEMAKER]

I am the wife of a musician, mother of girls, crafter of things, lover of dogs. I am a breastfeeding, baby-wearing, SAHM. I’m Southern and proud of it. I buy organic. I care about the environment – a lot. I recycle and repurpose. I sew, knit, and paint. I have expensive taste, but I always find a good deal. I am both sweet as pie and tough as nails. I have high expectations because I think the world would be a better place if everyone would strive for their best.  I am many things, but MOM is the one that I am most proud of. Join me to discover more!
