I’m almost too embarrassed to post the before pictures of my house, but I’m sure someone out there is worse off than us! So, first a disclaimer:
I am a homemaker, not a housekeeper. No – they are not synonymous with one another. I am a great mom and wife; I spend quality time with my family. That time does not include a ton of cleaning. Granted, I do laundry and dishes daily; I clean the refridgerator about once a week. Behind closed doors – cabinets, closets, and wardrobes – lies neatness (believe it or not). However, there is an overwhelming amount of (dare I say) crap out in the open. Stuff that gets just tossed somewhere into the abyss and never put in a proper place.
That said, here goes nothing:
GiGi Miller (owner of Vision Organizing) and I started with what seems to be the most overwhelming in our house – papers. Believe it or not, I still had Kindergarten papers from my [now] 3rd grader. I never knew what to do with it all. I used to work. I never had to deal with all this sort of stuff. Now, I do. And, thanks to GiGi, I now know how to deal with all of it!

How did we do it? GiGi’s genius bins. We separated everything into piles and it works beautifully! I wish I had photographed the recycle pile – it was HUGE!

In just about 2 hours we accomplished ALL this! It has been a blessing for our family and I can’t wait to continue. I will be keeping you all posted on the progress (unsightly as it may be). But, in the meantime, if you want a little help, stay tuned. You won’t want to miss the giveaway coming up!

Would it make you feel better if I posted pictures of my messes? Because yours don’t look that bad to me at all! That said, I am envious of your organizing project. Too bad the kiddies don’t think organizing is as fun as I do– so I just never get around to it.
