As you already know, going green is something that is important to me. So, when I found out that I could go green with my blog, I was psyched! A young company in Germany, kaufDA, is helping the environment by planting a tree for every blog/website that signs up.
The goal: 1,000,000 trees
Did you know that even though we are saving paper by posting via internet there are still CO2 emissions? That’s right! Check out the fancy chart the kaufDA folks created:
Along with the Arbor Day Foundation, kaufDA will plant a tree for you (and me) to neutralize the carbon dioxide emissions of your blog/website. The trees will be planted in this spring (2010) in the Plumas National Forest to replace those that were lost in fires.
