I am going to dedicate Thursdays to going green. I originally began the process of going green in 2001, when I was pregnant with my first child. I wasn’t actually doing it for the environment, but for the health of my baby. At first, I really only did a couple of things – I bought organic veggies and quit using bleach. As I learned more about raising my baby, I realized that I wanted her to grow up in a nice environment. That meant that I had to provide that for her – at home and in the world. And the process began. I still have a long way to go, but maybe we can do it together. Won’t you join me each week for something new to make your life a little bit healthier and safer for our families?
