Ready to Knit Ball

Last night I logged into Ravelry to hunt for an easy ball pattern for this yarn:

Gumdrops

I had tried to begin a crochet ball, but I had a hard time.  I’m a beginner at crochet, and really knitting too.  I think I found the perfect project!  The Gevlochten Bal by Marleen Hartog looks like the best (and easiest) pattern fo me.  And it is free!  This is hers:

I haven’t gotten to create anything lately since the babe has been teething and has needed her Mommy.  I have many, many other projects to finish, but today this is what I’m going to work on.  What are you tackling today?

Those look like a lot of fun! I have always wanted to learn to knit, maybe one day :)

I don’t know a lot and am sort of teaching myself as I go. So far, it’s going good … but slow!

Those are nice and colorful. My grandmother taught me how to knit a little when I was younger…it was fun!
